Water Reclamation Facility <picture>

Water

UF’s three million gallon a day Water Reclamation Facility enabled the shift from well and potable water to reclaimed water for irrigation. Over 90% of the University’s campus is served by the reclaimed water system.

The Sustainability Committee has set up a Water Task Force to address water consumption and water quality issues on campus. Some of the efforts that we hope to address in the near future are laboratory water use and nutrient loading of stormwater.
